How to Diamond Paint

Set up
Lay one canvas flat on a well-lit table. Keep the others in the box until you start them.

Read the color card
Match each symbol on the canvas to its diamond color, and find that color’s bag.

Work a small area at a time
If the canvas has a protective film, peel back only the part you are working on so the rest stays clean and sticky.

Load the sticky pen
Press the pen tip into the glue clay. Pour one color into the tray and shake gently so the diamonds sit right side up.

Place the diamonds
Pick up a diamond and press it onto a matching symbol. Fit the 6-drill tip to fill a row of one color faster.

Press it flat
When a canvas is finished, lay a book over it and press gently so every diamond sits firmly.

Store and display
Keep leftover diamonds in their bags. Show off the finished canvases on a shelf, or in frames of your own (frames are not included).
Pro tips
- Press the pen into the glue clay again whenever it stops picking up diamonds.
- Tweezers nudge a diamond back into line without disturbing its neighbors.
- Work under a daylight lamp so the colors match the color card.
- Start with the canvas that has the fewest colors to get a feel for it.
