How to Pearl Paint
Skill: Beginner-friendly No paint or water needed

    Open the package
    Take out the canvas and the tools, and lay the canvas flat on a well-lit table.
  2. 2
    Pour pearls into the tray
    One color at a time. Give the tray a gentle shake so the pearls line up, ready to pick.
  3. 3
    Make the pen sticky
    Press the pen tip gently into the glue clay.
  4. 4
    Find the matching number
    Check the color legend, then peel back the protective film over just the area you are working on.
  5. 5
    Place the pearls
    Pick up a pearl with the pen, line it up with its number on the canvas and press gently.
  6. 6
    Step back and enjoy
    When every area is filled, check the whole picture and touch up any gaps with the tweezers.
Pro tips
  • Peel the film a little at a time so the canvas stays sticky and dust-free.
  • Press the pen into the glue clay again whenever it stops picking up pearls.
  • Cover any exposed area with the film between sessions.
  • Keep leftover pearls in their numbered bags so colors stay sorted.
