Centimetres are hard to picture. Drag through the sizes and see the canvas held
at true scale by an average adult, so you know what is arriving before you order it.

Cover the table, set good lighting, keep water and a paper towel nearby. Lightly iron the canvas on low (no steam) or tape it flat to a board.
2
Organize paints & match numbers
Open one color at a time to prevent drying. If thick, add a drop of water and mix. Keep lids closed when not in use.
3
Start smart
Work from top-to-bottom (or left-to-right if right-handed) to avoid smudges. Many painters begin with the background or darker areas for easy progress.
4
Use the right brush for the area
Small brush for tiny cells; larger brush for big areas. Glide the tip—don’t press or splay bristles. Cover numbers fully; add a second coat after drying if needed.
5
Rinse & dry between colors
Swirl in water, wipe on a towel until clean, then paint the next color. A barely damp brush gives cleaner edges.
6
Let sections dry
Acrylic dries fast—about 10–20 minutes depending on thickness. Touch up gaps or streaks once dry.
7
Store in-progress work
Close paint pots firmly; wipe rims so they reseal. Keep paints upright and the canvas flat.
8
Finish & frame
After 24 hours, optionally seal with a clear acrylic varnish (matte or gloss). Then frame and enjoy!
Pro tips
If a paint is too thick, add a single drop of water and mix. If too thin, use two light coats.
Mist closed paint pots lightly with water if you’re painting for a long session to slow drying.
For tiny areas, a toothpick or fine liner brush can help hit small corners cleanly.
Use daylight or a neutral white lamp so colors look true.
This is hands down my favorite painting that I've done!
80 colors, beautiful paint quality and a great canvas!
I absolutely love it and so does everyone who sees it!
Other than not having enough drills for two of the colors, I love this one!! I had to order from Amazon. They did not match exactly but I made it work. I really like these kits. The canvas is quality and really sticky for the drills. I have done many from Paintly, and I have loved every one. Just received my next project from ! Can’t wait to share that one!
I love this paint by number company! My friend did one from another company while I did this one from Paintly and the quality was much better - from the canvas quality, to the paint consistency, to the accuracy of the paint colors. It was fun, fun, fun. Would definitely recommend Paintly and I will be a returning customer.
This turned out amazing. Custom designed on ChatGPT. A joke because my family teases me for burning biscuits. Paints were nice and creamy. Canvas was smooth.
I loved doing this painting.it was difficult as some of the letters were really small but i think you can see by the painting it came out great.i enjoy paintings with lots of detail
I am absolutely loving this. I've been wanting this particular one for a long time, so decided to get it in a 60x80 cms, with 80 colours. I'm not even half way painting it yet but I am absolutely loving it and definitely buying another one.... or two.... or even three.
Fantastic quality.
I loved seeing this come to life, The colours were a bit dark for my dog but I have adjusted them slightly. The paint was great quality and the canvas easy to read. Very pleased with the outcome.
I picked this as a gift for my daughter, who moved out of state this year. Loved working on this one, the paints were smooth and covered great! The canvas needed very little prep was not warped or wrinkled.
As always another great kit from Paintly.
All my paintly pbn's have been wonderful. It is the best company I have ever ordered from. The quality of the paints is excellent. Paintly has so many pbn's to choose from, different sizes and number of paints to choose. Paintly is my favorite pbn company.
Really love the canvas and paint quality! Light colors are a bit translucent and making them thicker doesn’t make it better. But overall, paint is fantastic. Wish I could have got this in a smaller size. It’s hard to judge the best size when choosing. I know it’s a big ask but it would be so great if we could get recommended size and number of colors when choosing.
