What's in the kit
  • Printed acrylic panel
    15 × 20 cm and 3 mm thick, with the design and its numbers printed on it.
  • Wooden LED base
    15 × 4.4 × 2.9 cm, with a slot for the panel. USB powered, with seven light colors.
  • Pearls in numbered bags
    One bag per color, matched to the numbers on the panel.

    Pick up one pearl at a time and line them up in the tray.

How to Pearl Paint
Skill: Beginner-friendly No paint or water needed

    Set up
    Lay the acrylic panel flat on a well-lit table and open the pearls one color at a time.
  2. 2
    Pour pearls into the tray
    Give the tray a gentle shake so the pearls line up, ready to pick.
  3. 3
    Load the pen
    Press the pen tip into the wax.
  4. 4
    Find the number
    Check the color guide for the pearl color that matches each number.
  5. 5
    Place the pearls
    Pick up a pearl with the pen, line it up with its number and press gently.
  6. 6
    Light it up
    Slot the finished panel into the wooden base, plug it in and pick a light color.
Pro tips
  • Press the pen into the wax again whenever it stops picking up pearls.
  • Work one color at a time, from the center out.
  • Keep leftover pearls in their numbered bags so colors stay sorted.
