Centimetres are hard to picture. Drag through the sizes and see the canvas held
at true scale by an average adult, so you know what is arriving before you order it.

This is the photo we turn into your paint by numbers kit.
Cover the table, set good lighting, keep water and a paper towel nearby. Lightly iron the canvas on low (no steam) or tape it flat to a board.
2
Organize paints & match numbers
Open one color at a time to prevent drying. If thick, add a drop of water and mix. Keep lids closed when not in use.
3
Start smart
Work from top-to-bottom (or left-to-right if right-handed) to avoid smudges. Many painters begin with the background or darker areas for easy progress.
4
Use the right brush for the area
Small brush for tiny cells; larger brush for big areas. Glide the tip—don’t press or splay bristles. Cover numbers fully; add a second coat after drying if needed.
5
Rinse & dry between colors
Swirl in water, wipe on a towel until clean, then paint the next color. A barely damp brush gives cleaner edges.
6
Let sections dry
Acrylic dries fast—about 10–20 minutes depending on thickness. Touch up gaps or streaks once dry.
7
Store in-progress work
Close paint pots firmly; wipe rims so they reseal. Keep paints upright and the canvas flat.
8
Finish & frame
After 24 hours, optionally seal with a clear acrylic varnish (matte or gloss). Then frame and enjoy!
Pro tips
If a paint is too thick, add a single drop of water and mix. If too thin, use two light coats.
Mist closed paint pots lightly with water if you’re painting for a long session to slow drying.
For tiny areas, a toothpick or fine liner brush can help hit small corners cleanly.
Use daylight or a neutral white lamp so colors look true.
I really enjoyed painting my Seattle, a bit like I remember it back in the day! The colors are vibrant and the paint was creamy and fresh. I chose to do a larger canvas and use the 80 color kit. I can’t say it was easy, but I’ve done probably close to 100 so far and wanted to choose something more challenging!
Now I need to find a frame for it😁
I used the ai function to change this one slightly, gave her a smile, changed the colour of her dress, and added a candle to one of the cakes. Only started on it yesterday but already absolutely love it. The resin square drills are perfect, drill field nice and tight, and such pretty colours. Perfect
Fantastic paints this time round. Really good coverage on first go.
design came out amazing and honestly cant stop painting, its such a joy.
Delivery to nz nice and fast.
I LOVE my Headless Horseman diamond art - it looks amazing! The Legend of Sleepy Hollow has been a favorite story since I was a kid and I was so excited to find this. The only complaint that I have is that there were not enough 939 (O) diamonds to complete the picture and I had to purchase some to get the picture completed before Halloween.
I made a mistake and ordered this too small but it was still fun. I just ordered a large max color and really looking forward to a long project. The quality of the kits are far superior to one that I bought in a national chain craft store and another I tried online!
It took me 3 months working with a magnify glass as it was 50 by 70 cms I truly enjoyed and loved by everyone. Thx paintly I have been back 2 times. Enjoyed and the quality of canvas is professional and I ordered just canvas and framed it myself. LOVE IT 😊
Absolutely beautiful diamond art. Bright, sparkly gems. Easy to follow instructions. Love how it shimmers. Great company. Love the option to have framed.
This is my “ Girl on the moon” painting . I just love it! Everyone who sees it comments on its allure. Even my male friends love the subject matter. I cannot part with it. I paid a lot to have it double matted & framed but haven’t gotten it back yet.
From the moment i opened this product I was impressed by the quality. This was my second piece of diamond art and I really enjoyed working on this product. I finished it last night and couldn’t be happier with the diamond art.
Creating diamond art from a photo of a 40+ year old cross stitch tapestry. This is the largest project I’ve done so far and it’s going slowly but I’m excited about how it’s going. I like how the drills are in ziplock bags instead of plastic packets, easier for me to use and reusable when I’m finished.
The picture itself is beautiful. The paint containers are difficult to open and very, very messy. Many of the colors have to have several coats to cover the lines and the numbers. Cost wise I don’t feel this is any better than any other paint by number for the higher cost. I get them dry mounted before I paint them so it doesn’t matter if they come, rolled folded, etc..
This rating is for my custom designed diamond painting ( not the praying hands over mountains )
I used the Custom designed option on their site because we live in a New Orleans style home with a center courtyard & fountain just like this
I bought large size with maximum round diamonds.
It looks Amazing !! This company has EXCELLENT QUALITY products!!
Can wait to do more from this company
I ordered a semi‑custom diamond painting from Paintly Kits, and I am over the moon with how it turned out. I took one of their original images and had them substitute the woman and the dog for my Dunkin — and they absolutely nailed it. The final canvas is a gorgeous 50 × 70 cm piece that feels personal, peaceful, and full of love.
The rendering quality was excellent, and the square drills were crisp, clean, and sparkly. I added my own touches with AB and stardust drills on Dunkin’s fur and collar, plus her hair and dress, and the canvas handled the enhancements beautifully. The colors are vibrant, the details are sharp, and the whole scene just glows. This is one of those kits that reminds you why you love diamond painting. Paintly Kits did an amazing job with the customization, and the final result is truly special.
