In Her Words

Virginia picked up painting for the first time in her 60s. She started with Garden in Bloom as a way to unwind in the evenings, and quickly fell in love with the process. By her second kit she was hooked — and by her third, The Shell Collector, she was painting with purpose: a birthday gift for her granddaughter who loves the ocean. That painting now hangs proudly in a five-year-old's bedroom, and Virginia is already picking out her next kit.
