Our team personally reviews every application within 5–7 business days. We look at your passion for painting, your social media activity, and how you engage with the paint by numbers community. We’ll email you with our decision.
Once accepted, you’ll receive your personal discount code, your unique referral link, access to our private ambassador community, and a welcome guide with everything you need to know to get started.

We keep things flexible, but here’s what we love to see from our ambassador family. Think of these as guidelines, not strict rules.
Content & Posting
- Share at least 2–3 posts per month featuring your Paintly kits (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or wherever your audience is)
- Show off your painting process — work in progress shots, time-lapses, or before-and-after reveals
- Tag @paintlykits and use your unique referral code or link in your posts
- Share honest reviews and genuine experiences — we never ask you to say anything that isn’t true
- Stories, reels, and short-form video perform best, but we love all formats
Community & Engagement
- Engage with the Paintly community — reply to comments, answer questions, and encourage others
- Participate in ambassador-only challenges and events when possible
- Be a positive and supportive presence in our ambassador group
- Let us know if you have ideas for new kits, collections, or promotions — your input matters

Not at all. We care far more about your passion for paint by numbers and the quality of your engagement than the size of your audience. Some of our best ambassadors started with just a few hundred followers. What matters is that you’re active, authentic, and excited about sharing your painting journey.
We recommend sharing at least 2–3 posts per month that feature your Paintly kits. This could be an Instagram post, a TikTok video, a story, a reel, a YouTube video — any format works. We’re flexible and understand that life happens, but consistent activity helps you grow and earn more.
Commissions are calculated at the end of each month and paid out within the first two weeks of the following month. Payments are made via PayPal or bank transfer, depending on your preference. You’ll receive a full breakdown of your referral sales each month.
All ambassadors receive an exclusive personal discount on every order they place. As you progress through the commission tiers, you’ll unlock additional rewards including complimentary kits. Rising Star ambassadors receive a free kit every quarter, and Elite ambassadors get priority access plus surprise care packages.
Absolutely! The Paintly Ambassador Program is open to painters worldwide. We ship internationally, and your referral code works globally. We have ambassadors in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and many other countries.
You can promote on any platform where you have an audience — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter/X, your personal blog, or even through word of mouth. We find that Instagram and TikTok tend to drive the best results for our ambassadors, but use whatever feels natural to you.
We review applications within 5–7 business days. You’ll receive an email at the address you provided letting you know whether you’ve been accepted. If your application isn’t accepted right away, don’t be discouraged — you can always reapply in the future.
Your ambassador discount is designed to work alongside our existing promotions. However, some specific sale events may have restrictions. We’ll always communicate any limitations clearly so there are no surprises.
Program Guidelines & Terms
- The Paintly Ambassador Program is free to join. There are no sign-up fees, hidden costs, or purchase requirements to participate.
- Ambassadors must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to participate in the program.
- All content shared should be original and created by you. Do not use copyrighted or stolen imagery when promoting Paintly.
- Ambassadors should disclose their partnership with Paintly in accordance with FTC guidelines (e.g., using #ad or #partner hashtags where required).
- Paintly reserves the right to end an ambassador partnership at any time if the terms are not being met, or if the ambassador’s conduct doesn’t align with our brand values.
- Commission rates and tier thresholds are subject to change. Ambassadors will always be notified in advance of any changes.
- Self-referrals (using your own code for personal orders) do not count toward commission. Your personal discount is separate from your referral code.
- Ambassadors who remain inactive (no posts or referrals) for more than 90 consecutive days may be moved to inactive status. You can always reach out to reactivate.
